Case Study :: Spotless Xmas Gift Site

Client Introduction

The Spotless Group was created in 2006 to assist leading brands within individual countries reach new markets in Europe. Indeed it's presence is already expanding throughout Europe, bringing the Guaber Group, it's subsidiaries in the UK, Spain, Hungary and Russia together with other Spotless Group companies including Eau Ecarlate (France) and Punch Industries (Eire).

Project Overview

AJ Findhorn came to us wanting us to produce a mini christmas gift website for Spotless Group, one of their existing clients. The website was to feature a range of quirky christmas gifts which could be purchased online through a simple PayPal eCommerce shopping cart system. The turnaround time for this project was very tight and this was where Amasci excelled once again managing to produce the goods ahead of time.

The project was created in the usual phases, this gave Spotless and AJ Findhorn the time to work on the content whilst the design process was underway. The design was loved by both clients which enabled us to quickly move onto the website creation and product integration.

PayPal eCommerce Integration

The website had to integrate the PayPal system to take payment for the products. Our task was to setup all the code and communication between the website and the PayPal system. We had to develop the products sections with the ability for products to have options which would be obvious on the order screen whilst still conforming to the PayPal rules and system constraints. The delivery was set at a fixed cost regardless of how many items where ordered, so this was set in the PayPal account setup area.

We included footer links to the existing website terms, privacy and contact pages to conform to eCommerce internet trading terms and regulations.

The Spotless Group Xmas Gift website has been well received by the clients and their customers.
