The Project Brief
Plowman Craven Limited have been a client with Amasci Creative since day one, so we have a brilliant relationship and great understanding. Having built their last last two websites (amongst various other online ventures), it was time for a refresh and modernisation.
The last website was over four years old when we opened discussions. The content and structure needed to align with their corporate brochure as well as showcasing some of their work more effectively.
The website would need to feature cross relationships between services, videos and case studies and an ability to easily manage these relationships. Other requirements included a full news/archive section, latest events and search facility.
Our Solution
Initially we carried out a full content review and consulted with the marketing team and directors to ensure that the website structure aligned with their offline marketing and a website structure and initial wireframes were born.
We developed the website as a full performance enhanced responsive website to ensure it met with latest standards and technologies, as well as targeting their growing mobile audience.
We build the website on a content management system to ensure that all content could be easily updated. This also helped us achieve the ability to cross link case studies (projects), videos, services and other areas like the latest news, charity and sponsorships and latest events sections.
The clean layout keeps it looking fresh, while colour-coded tabs to easily establish the service area and large drop-down menus make navigation really simple.
The site contains many additional features and functionalities, such as photo galleries, videos, dynamic homepage content, animations and a navigation that converts from a dropdown mechanism to a touch and expand navigation for mobile and tablet devices.
